I recently took an uninterrupted hour to myself to wash my hair and try the Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection.
When I was little, my mom would go get her hair done every week. It was her self-care ritual – whether she left me and my sister home with my dad or took me with her. It was then that I learned how important it was to take care of yourself no matter how much you have going on. My mom always made sure we were all taken care of throughout the week, but she made sure she didn’t miss that appointment. I’ve remembered that since I was little. She subconsciously taught me to do the same now that I’m a mom who also needs to prioritize her self-care.
Because I’m still social distancing, I haven’t gotten my nails or hair done in months, but self-care is still very much needed. I’ve been washing and styling my own hair at home and I most recently tried the new Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection.
The shampoo and conditioner are great – washing my hair is always therapeutic for me. My favorite product from the collection was the Fortifying Damage Repair with Castor Oil shampoo and conditioner. My color treated hair needs extra care and it really revived the shine to it. The serum is light – in texture and fragrance – which really allows the product to be buildable.
Wash day has been a big part of my me-time and self-care the last couple of months, and using the new Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection made it even better. Hopefully, my girls will be inspired by me to prioritize their hair and self-care in the future like my mom inspired me.
