It’s very interesting to me that as I grow as an influencer and businesswoman I meet people who are interested in turning their blog into their business without doing the work. The number one question I get is, “How long did it take before you got paid?” THREE YEARS. So yeah, if you’re looking for an elevator ride to the top – it doesn’t exist, friend.

Blogging seems so easy because the pictures on someone’s site or their social are shiny and pretty, but I’ll speak for myself when I say I bust my butt to be in the position that I’m in. It’s a grind, a hustle, just like anything else and asking someone how long it took before they got paid only proves how much you don’t want it. I digress…
Hubs says this is my superhero outfit and that my superhero name would be Beige. LOLOLOLOLOL. True story. I think the look is more of a tan kind of color, but I’ve been wrong before. But this all neutral look is totally something I would wear to a friend’s birthday dinner or fun influencer event. Or apparently, to save the world. Ha!

As I listen to more and more podcasts this seems to be the theme, even if some of my blogging/business groups people are always asking. How long? or they say they want to start a blog to make money. Even asking me how come I don’t turn my blog into money. It’s not always that easy, and a lot of hard work goes into when you need to stand out in a sea of blogs and businesses. Starting a business is also a process and even the most succesful businesses owner, barely paid themselves the first 1 to 5 years before it really took of. Anyway, take the steps!
