Bermuda shorts are really starting to grow on me. Especially when you find it in a good dark wash like this!

Maybe this is my age showing but I’m not really into super short shorts like I once was. The more loose, the better, and I like them a little bit longer. Now, I’ll be honest. I’ve seen Bermuda shorts before and they look great on other people. But because I’m short and petite, I wasn’t really sure how this was going to work out on me. Turns out, great.

These Signature by Levi Strauss Modern Skinny Shorts are awesome. I love the fit (form-fitting, which is ideal because the shorts are longer) and the wash is super dark like I like it. Of course, I had to wear it with a ruffle, off the shoulder top. This one is from Rachel Zoe, light yet dressy enough for a day date or even brunch with your girlfriends. The detail on it makes a subtle statement.

This is how I would dress these Bermuda shorts up for summer. But this are ideal for everyday errands with a more casual feel. More on that later…
