So it’s these Bermuda shorts again. This time, much more casual for my everyday “I have a million errands to run” life. By casual doesn’t have to mean boring.

For this time around, I opted for some fun gladiator sandals and a casual white cotton top with bell sleeves. I am really into this weaved bags that are very on trend this season and when I saw this one at Target, I had to have it. (Not that I ever need an excuse to buy things at Target. EVER.) The poms were the perfect color combination making those same colors stand out in my sandals.
Is it me or do you just want to run around in sweats with your kid and run your errands super comfortably and not be bothered with getting dressed? I know I can’t be the only one.
And while that’s tempting, I try to always pull myself together. So how do you keep it casual, comfortable and still (even if mildly) chic?
- I pay attention to the fit of my clothes. I like to keep a balance. Since my bermuda shorts were fitted, I decided to pair it with a loose fitting top, untucked but with a shape so it still looked presentable.
- I wear breathable materials. Frankly put, wear cotton so you actually stay comfortable throughout the day.
- Wear at least one statement accessory that makes you feel confident. It can be earrings, a bag, metallic sneakers. Something that’ll inevitably get you a compliment throughout the day.
