DRESS // Nichole Lynel (sold out – another good option) — NECKLACE // Gorjana (similar) — EARRINGS // Shashi — LIPSTICK // Maybelline — MIRROR // Anthropologie
I’ve been doing a lot of shopping lately, only to get dressed and go to the kitchen, living room or family room. The new dress code is home, but make it fashion.
Listen I’ve had this gorgeous red Nichole Lynel gown in my closet for almost 8 months with plans to wear it out to an event or be obnoxiously overdressed for date night. (It’s sold out, but found another good formal option here.) But with a global pandemic making an appearance, I have a lot of good clothes in my closet and nowhere to go. Thankfully, I take pictures for a living and could justify my ridiculousness.
Growing up my favorite color was pink (and still is) but recently, I’ve really come to appreciate the color red. It’s bold. It’s powerful. It’s unapologetic. All things I aspire to be in my day to day life and I love how it makes me feel when I wear it. In the case you need a red dress for everyday, a fancy event in the future or just to take photos in, I’ve included a nice little list to choose from.
I’m such a huge fan of Nichole Lynel and her line so when I saw this, I was happy to give her my money (again).
It was nice to get fancied up and head to my dining room to pretend I was shooting a magazine cover for about 15 minutes. It ended with Caliana humbling me and asking me to cut up some strawberries for a snack. I love it here.
Love the dress, red is my favorite color!!!
I truly loved this! Definitely have me getting ready to get dressed up with nowhere to go! Lol
The dress is gorgeous !!!
This color looks really good on you!
