Yes, yes. It’s Halloween. My 4 year old reminded me every 5 minutes today (she was Rapunzel). And I’ll be the first to admit to you that I don’t take October 31 too seriously. I don’t have a problem with it, it just isn’t my thing. But, I did wear orange today. Aside from that, that’s all I got for you.

While Atlanta doesn’t get cold in the beginning of fall, it usually starts to get cold by the end of October especially on Halloween. I remember nights where I’ve trick or treated with Maizah when she was younger and we had to put a coat over her costume or layer underneath. The wind in the evening can be brutal on the last day of October.
Today was not the case. The high was 78, and it stayed in the 70’s until about 8p or so. I’m certainly not complaining, but it was easy to forget it was October.
Maizah was Rapunzel (we took her shopping at the Disney store last month for her birthday and she picked out her costume). I dragged my feet on Caliana’s costume and when we tried to get her one tis afternoon, it was a bust. But she’s only 9 months old and she slept for half of the experience anyways.
While Halloween isn’t the holiday I gravitate towards naturally, it’s always so fun to see what other people and their families have dressed up as on Instagram. Maybe next year, we’ll commit as a family and dress up together. It at least sounds like a good idea.
