For the last few months, I’ve been looking at front porch decor for summer inspo on Pinterest to figure out what to do with ours. Our porch is narrow and small with enough space for a couple of chairs.
In the late spring (after the pollen is GONE), summer & fall it is so nice to sit on our porch and drink some coffee or rosé while the sun sets and the breeze blows. It’s one of my favorite things about our house.
Recently, I worked with my friends at Kirkland’s to give the front porch a refresh and I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
I bought the furniture set from Target a couple years ago. I still like it because it’s neutral and comfortable.
However, we definitely needed an update on decor.
When I saw these pillows (similar), I gravitated towards them because of the blue and green. I always gravitate towards those colors in the spring & summer. While there weren’t any long rugs available, I thought grabbing two scatter rugs and putting them under each of the chairs was a nice touch.
Speaking of nice touches, I couldn’t get enough of the floral wreaths they had. This white floral wreath (sold out; similar) stood out to me and I like how it contrasts with our black door.
We were in need of a new doormat and this woven one was perfect.
This bamboo basket is easily a favorite of mine. I added some yellow dried flowers and it really added some polish to the porch. I added those same friend florals in a vase on top of a gorgeous white and blue table. Perfect for sitting your coffee or lemonade out there which we often do during this time of year.
We found these solar lanterns and they were such a nice finishing touch. I love how the LED lights in them flicker at night.
Because we get high sun on the porch in the afternoon, Hubs added a curtain on the side which I think really elevated the look of the porch. (He’ll be adding some to the front next month.)
