Seriously, y’all. We need to talk about these combat boots.
I’ll be the first to admit that I thought the combat boot trend was too cool for me. Sure, I don’t dress overly girly and can handle my fair share of trends. But combat boots feel very street style and I don’t necessarily think of myself as someone who has street style. However, when I saw these ZARA combat boots with pearl detail, I was willing to become who I needed to be to wear these boots (similar with silver hardware!) . They were just too good!
SPOILER: Combat boots are extremely versatile. No, really. It’s true. The reason why I was put off by them is because I believed I had to be edgy to pull them off. But they go with everything from denim to dresses, no matter what your style is.
Funny enough, I now have thought of every way possible to wear these boots with so many pieces in my closet. Not only are they mom on the go friendly, but they’re also spring appropriate depending on how you style them. They go with so many of the pieces in my spring capsule wardrobe, giving whatever I’m wearing a little bit of edge – which totally works for me. Just between me and you, I might just have a little street style after all.
If you’re looking for a few ideas, here is how I wear combat boots 5 ways.
