I’m so excited to be sharing my kitchen organization with you! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that we just recently moved in (after a 5 week delay) and my friends from The Container Store sent me over some items to help me get my kitchen organized.
Because my kitchen is the center of my house in an open space concept layout, it was vital for me to get my kitchen organized first and foremost. The ladies from Sort and Sweet blessed me with their organization skills by helping me unpack and organize with The Container Store items. If you’re in need of kitchen organization yourself, be sure to check out their Kitchen & Pantry sale they’re having online now through November 10.
YOU. GUYS. I have a pantry. I didn’t have a pantry in my previous home so this is one of my favorite spots in the new house. And with little kids this is definitely helpful because I always have an array of snacks to get us through weekend and those days they don’t have school. After perusing Pinterest for weeks envisioning how to make my kitchen pretty, I was excited to see it finally come to fruition.
Under the sink is usually where things can easily get junky, so I was pleasantly surprised by how organized it could be. Knowing how many sponges I have left, easy access to Swiffer pads and antibacterial wipes is a lifesaver.
We have a lot more cabinets in this kitchen than the last, but more space isn’t an excuse to fill it up to the brim. Using those cabinet shelves to organize plates (and products under the sink) were so clutch. And I have always been a fan of drawer organizers which made my junk drawer, not so junky. Absolutely loving the spice containers and the labels Margaret from Sort and Sweet made for them!
Last but not least, we kept my countertops pretty clear for the most part. I didn’t want too much on my counters because it can easily start looking junky. For my most used cooking utensils, the ladies from Sort and Sweet used a bamboo utensil holder that looks so good on the countertop.
Loving my kitchen right now. Linked to all the items that were used to organize above or you can shop them below!
