Apparently, I can’t get enough of ruffles. It’s just so feminine and on trend. Whether it’s a top, dress or sleeve, the more ruffles, the better.

I’ve been a sucker for ruffles, all this season. You’ve probably seen it here, here and here. (Hey, what can I say?) They’re just so goooood. So when I laid my eyes on this dress from Viva Aviva (via Rent The Runway), I knew I had to have it. While I wouldn’t consider myself a blue person, soft hues of blue are my go-to color for spring and summer. Naturally, a strappy sandal would be the obvious choice of shoe for a look like this, but I liked the unexpected appeal of this pink velvet bootie a la Steve Madden. Pink and blue in the past would’ve been something I totally avoided to wear together, but in this case, it totally worked.
