Okay, so if you’ve been paying attention to my Instagram content lately, the conversations I’ve been having include how to delegate as many domestic duties as I possibly can. And I stand by that. But truthfully, the light cleaning – and disinfecting – that must happen day to day is work that most of us can’t avoid.
For me, it’s all about using products I know will get the job done like Original Pine-Sol.
I remember spending weekends at my grandmother’s house as a child and getting up early to clean on Saturday mornings. Man, I hated some of those mornings because all I wanted to do was play with my cousins and eat my grandma’s cooking. I am so thankful for those moments now – it is really how I learned to clean. I use some of those same lessons she taught me to clean my house today. Those Saturday morning cleaning sessions always included wiping down her countertops and the tub with Pine-Sol. Unless we used Pine-Sol, my grandma didn’t consider the house CLEAN clean.
Since we’re now in the peak of cold & flu season amid a global pandemic, I use the Original Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Cleaner to help prevent the spread of germs, including the virus that causes COVID-19.
I put on gloves and pour the full strength product onto a clean cloth or sponge and apply to hard, nonporous surfaces to disinfect against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). Once the surface is wet with the Pine-Sol, let stand for 10 minutes, and then rinse or wipe off with water. If your surface is heavily soiled or dirty, remove excess dirt first before applying the product.
When I say my surfaces are CLEAN clean, I mean it. Making sure that we’re keeping things as disinfected as we possibly can is a priority more than usual.
