In case you haven’t noticed, I have a thing for off the shoulder and bell sleeve tops and dresses. It has the vintagesque feel to it (shoutout to the 90’s) and while it made it’s 21st century debut last season, the trend is certainly here to stay.

Off the shoulder and exaggerated sleeve pieces are so great because they instantly make a statement. While being feminine, they make your look standout and go with just about anything. You can wear this trend as a dress or top with everything from denim, skirts, trousers and more. I tend to opt for the look in a lighter color – ivory, white, camel, peach or blue – but it looks great in deeper shades as well. Here, I’m wearing an off the shoulder blouse with bell sleeves from Storets. The top cuts shorter than the average blouse, so I decided to wear them with trousers that fit me almost perfectly. And because I need all the help I can get in the height department (I’m 5’2″) I went for nude strappy sandals. Which in my opinion you can never go wrong with in the spring and summer.
Totally agree with a nude heel. I have to admit, I wasn’t crazy about the dramatic sleeves initially, but they are starting to grow on me. Love this outfit!!
