I enjoy the look of florals & greenery at home during the spring.
But let’s be honest: Buying fresh flowers weekly can be expensive.
In this post, I will share five types of faux florals to consider for home in the spring.
Cherry Blossoms
Cherry blossoms aren’t only gorgeous but tall and cheerful.
If you want to change the look and mood of the room noticeably, go for these tall, bright beauties. Try the ones that are 44″ (I have these and LOVE them) to make a statement and look good in a ceramic or glass vase. To compliment an existing vignette, go for something smaller.
Eucalyptus Leaves
Adding greenery like eucalyptus stems can refresh your space for the season.
The deep green leaves add a nice touch of liveliness without the fuss of having to keep up with the real thing. (I have these in our foyer table.) The round leaves and length of the branches give excellent height and shape wherever you put this greenery.
Lilacs
Nothing says spring like lilacs.
They’re delicate while still being a full-bloomed option. Color options like white and pink keep things light & fresh. For something with more of a pop that commands attention, try purple. (I currently have these in my cart.)
Hydrangeas
If you want a full floral with detail and versatility, you want hydrangeas.
Whatever your mood, you can find it in hydrangeas. If your mood is fresh and bright – white hydrangeas are for you. (very much my mood) If you like neutral and polished things, opt for green ones. If you’re bold and fun – a color like blue, pink, or lavender will be more your speed. To play around with height and shape, try coned hydrangeas.
Peonies
The queen of spring flowers is the peony.
These look like quintessential spring in pastel shades like pink and peach. If you’re having a dinner party or want to use a single stem in a small vase, try a bright color like magenta.
Faux florals for spring let you buy them once, but enjoy them forever.
You can start to build your faux floral collection for your home today. It’s much more affordable and sustainable than dealing with the real thing. (While looking just as lovely.)
