Keeping Home Kid-Friendly Clean with Swiffer

While we’re super excited to be moving into our new home this month, there’s still dust & dirt around (from everything from boxes, the dust outside from construction, etc.). Of course, my 4 year old and 19-month old want to roll around on the floor in this house. Like all the time. I’m not sure what it is, but it drives me crazy because I don’t want them to eat it, get dirty and get anything in their eyes.

Before and while we move I’ll be sure to have my Swiffer around to keep things kid-friendly clean. Naturally, we’ll at Sam’s club often to restock on household items like Swiffer. And now until September 15, when you buy Swiffer at Sam’s Club you get an instant savings of $3 off.

Moving is pricier than I remember it being – this is my first time moving in a decade, so those are the kind of savings I can appreciate. Now that Maizah is older, I’ve been giving her little chores here and there to teach her responsibility and have her help around the house.

Having her Swiffer the floor is one of those easy tasks she can tackle. I’ve been using both the Swiffer Sweeper Dry Sweeping Cloths and the Sweeper Wet Sweeping Cloths because they’re so easy and efficient. Our new floors our laminate so they are low fuss. Getting dust up with the Sweeper Dry Sweeping Cloths is simple enough for my 4 year old to do.

Not gonna lie, it’s exciting to be in a new and bigger house. But it’s definitely so much more to clean. Trying my best to stay tidy with simple everyday products like Swiffer to make cleaning a lot easier and low fuss.
