My 2022 Fall Tablescape

I really enjoyed creating my fall tablescape this year. Fall decor is so lovely to me because of the warm colors and an aesthetically pleasing reminder that the seasons have changed.

Growing up, my mom always had a tablescape in the formal dining room that reflected the seasons. Having a formal dining room that I could decorate however I wanted was always one of my biggest wants for my home, so I feel so fortunate I have one.

Before I make my tablescape, I like to browse my Pinterest and get some inspiration. I’m no interior decorator, but being clear on a theme or color story has helped me get better with tablescapes over the years.

This year for my fall tablescape, I really wanted the autumnal colors to stand out. I feel like last year I didn’t really lean all the way in and commit. So I was so excited to display my Estelle glasses (they’re Black-owned!). They’re this beautiful peachy orange color and I love the shape of them.

For the place settings, I layered a couple of chargers – this wicker one is a fave – with my dinner plates. These are all things I already owned and collected over the years. This is one of my biggest tips – USE WHAT YOU GOT. You’d be surprised how many things you already have that can give you what you want. When it comes to creating a tablescape, start with what you have and build from there.

Last year, I purchased the most gorgeous fall floral napkins that were too good not to use again.

I think one of my favorite parts of this year’s fall tablescape are the faux eucalyptus stems. Easily one of my favorite Amazon finds from last year. They held up pretty well over the past 12 months – the quality is really good – and the colors are quintessential fall.

To add a new element to the fall tablescape, I added a bar cart and styled it. I’ve had this bar cart for years and never really took advantage of adding it to my tablescape decor. I had some extra glasses (love the color of these) and faux stems (in this vase) that ended up pulling it together. I didn’t plan on using it initially and it turned out better than I expected.

If you’re looking to decorate for the season and create a fall tablescape, here’s everything (or similar) I used to style the dining room. Click the link or photo of the product to shop.
