I have always been the kind of girl that loves jewelry. I remember going to the mall and spending my weekly allowance on accessories in Claire’s. Growing up Mommy had (and still has) the best jewelry. Her collection is beautiful – especially her custom pieces from Liberia and the middle east. I am my mother’s daughter and have grown to love it as much as her. I tend to gravitate towards yellow gold for my everyday jewelry – but if I like it, it doesn’t matter the metal.
This heart locket is a fave of mine. I love the shade of gold it is – it has this matte, smooth finish and it isn’t too yellow or orange of a gold. It has a little mirror in it and I need to see if I can have a photo made small enough of all of us to put it inside. I love layering it with this star necklace (sold out – similar) – yes, I have a thing for stars and hearts – and it is the perfect length. I need (and I use that term loosely) some heart earrings and I’ve got these in my cart currently. It was between those or these pair.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed that I wear this initial necklace almost every single day. (This another great option I have my eye on.) I love jewelry that have my initials on them – which is why I love this personalized signet ring. Even with it personalized, it got shipped in pretty good time (it took less than 2 weeks!) These star earrings (sold out – found similar) are one of my favorite statement pieces of jewelry to wear. Not ideal with a baby but great for photos. LOL.
Confession: I need to step my bracelet game up – I have like 3 of them. I love this style a lot so much that I found similar layering necklaces. (When it comes to layering or stacking rings – this set is GOOD.)
I am good for losing earrings and my kids are notorious for yanking my necklaces and breaking them. So in this season of my life, aside from my wedding ring set, I keep my jewelry pretty affordable and everyday friendly until I get my act together. Luckily, there’s some really good options at reasonable price points. Lately, I’ve been into versatile & delicate gold pieces that I can layer and wear with other pieces without it competing with each other.
Here are the jewelry pieces I wear all the time. (Some of the pieces were sold out but I found good dupes for them!)
